The roads fastest shoe has hit the trail!
The Endorphin Trail takes Saucony’s smart SPEEDROLL Technology off-road for the very first time - this shoe is built for speed and comfort, to give you a trail running experience like no other.
Let’s take a first look from the bottom up: 4.5mm directional lugs with Saucony’s super grippy and proven PWRTRAC outsole. Heaps of cushioning with their PWRRUN PB foam, which has incredible spring and energy return.
With a 4mm offset, starting at over 32mm in the heel, it’s a mid-range drop to handle any terrain or trail with confidence.
The upper is almost one piece, with their quick fit trail sleeve to protect against dirt and debris entering the upper.
There looks like a lot of shoe here, but it’s surprisingly light.
These are a long distance shoe but I can't help run fast in them. The SPEEDROLL technology sits in wait until you're ready to pounce.
I put these through their paces on slippery rocks, muddy trails, creek crossings and paved pathways. They gripped well, had great response and comfort from heel to toe.
They are now on my rotation of long training run shoes. Might even sneak them in to a short and sharp trail speed session!
